Fantastic Fizz!

Celebrating the diversity of sparkling wine in this case.  Hopefully new items to try or revisit with no Prosecco or Champagne included, this is a perfect exploration case full of delicious sparkling wines for any occasion.

Case includes;

Mas de Daumas Gassac Rose Frizant - A pretty, sparkling and uplifting pink made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Mourvèdre, Pinot noir, Sauvignon, Petit Manseng et Muscat.   A genuine rosé sparkling wine - it could almost be a fruit juice - delights the palate with lively fine bubbles, smooth fruity aromas, freshness thanks to its low alcohol content!  Serve Daumas Gassac “Rosé Frizant” well-chilled to quench thirst, indulge the taste-buds and banish gloom!

Pago de Tharsys Cava Brut Nature - A pale straw yellow in the glass with greenish tinges. The persistent mouse carries with it notes of apricot, apple and pear.  On the bine dry palate, light and fresh with a cleansing acidity leading to a lingering finish. A wonderful food wine.

Reichsrat Von Buhl, Reserve Brut Sekt - Traditional method German Sekt.  80% Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and 20% Chardonnay.  A fine mousse, with beaded bubbled winking at the brim. Delicate Weißburgunder floral notes. Richer brioche notes float subtly in the background. Apple, citrus, Normandy butter, some white peach, with a hint of wood spice. There's a fine zip of acidity good for pairing with rich, fatty foods - give it a go with Peking duck!

Vinedos de Aldeanueva Fincas de Azabache Tempranillo Blanco Brut - Tim Atkin's Sparkling Discovery of the Year (2021 Rioja Report) the limited Edition - Fincas De Azabache sparkling white Rioja.

Salasar Carte Azur, Cremant de Limoux BrutLimoux, in the southwest, is reputed to be the first French region where winemaking monks intentionally captured bubbles in their wine. While champagne commands the cachet, reputation and price of a luxury wine, the bubblies of Limoux often offer surprising value and quality.

Chateau Dereszla, Tokaji Vintage 2018 Methode Traditionnelle  - Chateau Deresla , owned by the d'Olan family from Champagne since 2000 is an elegant white sparkling wine, created from a blend of typical Hungarian varieties - Furmint and Harslevelu, grown in vineyards in the Tokaj region.  Harvested by hand, after sorting, passing through a press and primary vinification, the wine is subjected to secondary fermentation in bottles and aged on the lees for 14 months adding gentle brioche.
