Our Discovery World Case - a trip around the world with some fantastic wine.
Case includes;
Allan Scott Estate Pinot Gris - A fantastic Marlborough Pinot Gris. A short spell of skin contact has enhanced colour and flavour. With aromas of melon, citrus and stone fruit, this is perfect with fish or a cheeseboard.
RAAR Grenache Blanc - From the sunny Swartland, South Africa from low yielding bush vines, which concentrate the aromas and depth of this wine. White stone fruit, hints of citrus, jasmine and a touch of minerality with a focussed acid and long finish. Outstanding wine.
The Blender Dry White Wine 2024 - The Blender White 2024 is excellent Greek white wine of the varieties Malagouzia and Assyrtiko from 3F Microwinery in Aigialeia. Aromatic nose of white peach, lemon and green apple. The palate is sleek and balanced, with a lively acidity, flavours of citrus zest, pear skin and a delicious minerality.
AA San Ferdinando, Chianti Podere Gamba - A brilliant Chianti from AA San Ferdinando. Nice fruit here, but the joker in the blend is some Pugnitello, a pugnacious indigenous grape rediscovered by the University of Florence and being gradually reintroduced to this part of Tuscany.
Allan Scott, Holmes Point Pinot Noir - This succulent New Zealand Pinot Noir has aromas of spice, currant and dark Ghana chocolate. A juicy cherry mouthfeel matches perfectly with the grippy bitterness of the dark cocoa. A long and luxurious feel on the palate will remind you of your favourite cherry jam colliding with that warm dark cup of black tea.
Seriously Cool Cinsault - leading the march for Cinsault's renaissance in the Cape, Seriously Cool Cinsault has been lauded by UK wine critics receiving 90+ point scores from Decanter and Tim Atkin MW, in addition to a much-coveted Jancis Robinson "Wine of The Week". Bright fresh cherry and cranberry fruits with a savoury, fynbos finesse. This is seriously delicious!
