Malbec Tasting Case (6 bottles)

An amazing selection of Malbecs form Argentina and France.  All deeply-coloured, rich and robust, perfect for those cold winter nights.  Our Malbec Tasting Case includes one bottle each of the following wines:

Caoba Malbec - Soft tannins and well integrated oak. A medium bodied easy drinker with good concentration and length. An amazing wine for the price. Soft elegant and persistent, with a pinch of fruit and spice flavours and persistent finish. Pair with Ribs, Beef Stew and grilled meats with bold spices and sauces or perhaps Gruyere cheese.

Los Haroldos Estate Malbec - Very deep ruby-red tones, brilliant and clean. On the nose, complex aromas of red fruits (cherry, plum and raspberry) are combined with a touch of wood which enhances the presence of chocolate and vanilla. The texture is supple, with ripe tannins. Well balanced with good grip and acidity and long finish in the mouth.

La Vaca Gorda Malbec - Deep and vibrant Argentinian Malbec with an intense nose of plum, damson and dark chocolate aromas. Lush and layered on the palate, with well-integrated oak and plenty of fine tannins. Drink with beef in all its guises, from steaks to stews.

Luigi Bosca Reserve Vineyards Malbec - Sumptuous red wine which is a deep ruby-red colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices and black pepper. The palate intensity is complemented by the softness and sweetness of tannins. Full-bodied and well structured and great with beef or venison. 

Domaine Astruc, Malbec - This is a rich and velvety Malbec amde in the South of France by Domaine Paul Mas.  Black cherries and plums on the nose with a smooth palate, silky texture and warm layers of spice.

La Trochita Bonarda Malbec - This Malbec is crammed with damson, blackberry and plum flavours, accented by touches of oak toast. Smooth, ripe tannins offer a silky finish.
