One of the first ever Super Tuscans to launch, back in 1971.  Out now the new release of Tignanello 2019.  The 2019 is expected to continue the trend of outstanding wines; The 2018 scored a huge 97 points from Vinous's Antonio Galloni, this is the second highest scoring vintage ever!  We wait in anticipation for the 2019 scores.....

x3 Prunetto Pian Romualdo, Barbera d'Alba 2018

Pian Romualdo was first produced in 1961 from Prunotto’s vineyards located in the Monforte D’Alba area. Barbera vines grown here benefit greatly from temperature fluctuation between day and night, allowing Pian Romualdo to develop pronounced freshness, precise aromas and excellent aging potential.

Pian Romualdo is red-purple in color with ruby highlights. The nose is generous with notes of ripe black fruit and spices. The palate is full and balanced.  Pairs well with pasta, veal, deer, venison.
