Coastal Mixed Wine Case

Three whites and three reds from our diverse range inspired by the coast from around the world.  The coastal factor in winemaking terms often brings a cooling influence to vines which allows for slower ripening and the potential to retain higher acidity to keep your pallet tingling!

Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc (Walker Bay, South Africa)

Named after the rare Southern Right whales which frequent the cool South Atlantic Walker Bay, just three kilometres from the vineyards. This wine exhibits the typical Southern Right balance of tight "Old World" minerality and length with hints of "New World” texture and body.

Bodegones del Sur, Vineyard Select Albarino (Maldonado, Uruguay)

From two different vineyards in Maldonado, on the east coast of Uruguay. Both in close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.  Light clear golden colour. Delicate mineral nose and granny smith apples.

Beeskamp Chenin Blanc (Stellenbosch, South Africa)

Hailing from the Oceanic influenced Western Cape in Stellenbosch.  This Organic Chenin Blanc has hints of stone fruits such as white peach and apricots and also a little honey.  Perfect with a tuna steak.

Allan Scott, Holmes Point Pinot Noir (Marlborough, New Zealand)

From the famous coastal region of the South Island of New Zealand this succulent Pinot Noir has aromas of spice, currant and dark Ghana chocolate. A juicy cherry mouthfeel matches perfectly with the grippy bitterness of the dark cocoa.

Finca La Solana Seleccion Especial - Monastrell

Bodegas Luzón are a family owned estate and considered to be one of the top estates in the southern Spanish region of Jumilla.  Jumilla is just in land from Alicante close to the Coasta Blanca a warm region with Mediterranean influence. This full-flavoured wine is made with 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) and rounded off by a touch of oak to give it a toasty complexity with rich dark-berried fruit, concentrated and layered.

Chateau Troupian 2018 Haut Medoc (Bordeaux, France)

Part of the Lestage Simon estate and covers 40 hectares located all around the property. Haut-Médoc enjoys a long-standing reputation and is very close to the Atlantic Ocean.  This wine is richly balanced, punchy and powerful, with spicy undertones.
