Coastal Red Wine Case

6 Red Wines from our diverse range inspired by the coast from around the world.  The coastal factor in winemaking terms often brings a cooling influence to vines which allows for slower ripening and the potential to retain higher acidity and fresher fruit flavours which will hopefully keep your palate tingling!

Chateau Ollieux-Romanis, Lo Petit Fantet de l'Hippolyte (Languedoc, France)

A stone's throw from the Mediterranean, and certified organic.  This is mostly Carignan, with a little Grenache and Syrah for good measure. Black cherry, thyme and wood-spice on the nose give way to soft fruit on the palate, with warming garrigues flavours.

Allan Scott, Holmes Point Pinot Noir (Marlborough, New Zealand)

From the famous coastal region of the South Island of New Zealand this succulent Pinot Noir has aromas of spice, currant and dark Ghana chocolate. A juicy cherry mouthfeel matches perfectly with the grippy bitterness of the dark cocoa.

Finca La Solana Seleccion Especial - Monastrell (Jumilla, Spain)

Bodegas Luzón are a family owned estate and considered to be one of the top estates in the southern Spanish region of Jumilla.  Jumilla is just in land from Alicante close to the Coasta Blanca a warm region with Mediterranean influence. This full-flavoured wine is made with 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) and rounded off by a touch of oak to give it a toasty complexity with rich dark-berried fruit, concentrated and layered.

Radford Dale, Thirst Gamay (Stellenbosch, South Africa)

Located in the premium winemaking region of Stellenbosch, Radford Dale are known for their natural winemaking methods across the Western Cape of South Africa.  This wine is vibrant, fruity and floral gamay which is utterly moreish!  We encourage chilling lightly and sipping in the Cornish sunshine!

Beeskamp Cabernet Sauvignon (Stellenbosch, South Africa)

Hailing from Coastal South Africa, the finesse of this cooler climate Cabernet Sauvignon with soft notes of red and dark berries, herbs (sage) and even some dark chocolate is delicious!

Capofeto Nero d'Avola

From the Island of Sicily, close to the coast which moderates the warm Sicilian sunshine.  Organically certified wine from the king of Sicilian grapes.  This wine has bramble fruits, hints of chocolate and sweet spices.
