Graci Etna Rosso is produced from organic Nerello Mascalese grapes, from 15-year-old vines located on the north-eastern slopes of Mount Etna. It is elegant and crunchy with a succulent nose of wild strawberry, herbs and blood orange. There is a delicate structure with finely woven tannins, and a fresh, lingering finish.

Lying north of Etna (Catania), in an ancient winemaking area, the Graci winery only works with native varieties like Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto, with a particular focus on sustainability both in the vineyard and in the winery. As a result, they produce inspiring wines that showcase the natural expression of a large volcanic area.

Graci Etna Rosso comes from vineyards lying on the northeast side of Etna at an altitude of between 600 and 700 metres above sea level and on iron-rich volcanic soils. The team use ecological agriculture and no pesticides or herbicides, maintaining the natural balance of the terroir.

In the winery, Graci Etna Rosso is traditionally vinified with spontaneous fermentation in a cement tank and skin-contact maceration for about 30 days. It then undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging in cement tanks for 18 months.

Graci Etna Rosso is a red wine that is born at the foot of the Etna volcano in Sicily. A delicious red that showcases the qualities of this unique region.
