Graci Etna Bianco is an organic white wine, aged on lees and made in the DOC Etna Blanco (Sicily) Italian denomination by Graci with the Carricante and Catarratto native varieties.

The Graci winery lies north of the Etna volcano, in Catania (Sicily). This is an ancient winemaking area that has managed to hold onto native varieties like Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto. These are organic wines that really convey the natural expression of where they were born and made.

Graci Etna Bianco comes from a 2.5 ha vineyard in the town of Passopisciaro (Castiglione di Sicilia). These strains are planted at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level on very iron-rich volcanic soils with sandy loam. The team works with ecological agriculture, using limited sulphur and copper treatments, and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.

After a slow pressing of the grapes, Graci Etna Bianco spontaneously ferments in cement tanks with native yeasts. It is then aged on lees in these same cement tanks for eight months, before being bottled.

Graci Etna Bianco is 100% volcanic. A brilliant wine that expresses the region with a fresh, crisp and vibrant acidity.
