Take a trip to South Africa with this fantastic selection of 3 reds, 2 whites and 1 rose highlighting the value and diversity of South Africa....

Kraal Bay Chenin Blanc - Upfront tropical fruit with guava and gooseberries.  The pallet follows through with the same fruit balanced with crisp acidity to ensure a fresh and fruity style.  Very accessible and suited to almonst every occasion, this Chenin will never disappoint!

Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc - The wine is named after the rare Southern Right whales, which frequent the cool South Atlantic Walker Bay, just three kilometres from the vineyards.  Prominent yellow apple, nectarine and lemon zest aromas with a particularly saline, mineral, chalky dry palate and lemon and quince flavours. The wine has a layered and textured coating to its dry mineral core and finishes bright, pure and long.

Seriously Cool Cinsault - Seriously Cool Cinsault has been lauded by UK wine critics receiving 90+ point scores from Decanter and Tim Atkin MW, in addition to a much-coveted Jancis Robinson "Wine of The Week".  Here’s a seaside Cinsault of real character.  Lots of cranberry, fynbos finesse and red cherry.  Taught acidity and great length.  Benefits from a light chill before serving.

The Francophile Syrah, The Liberator - This wine is part of the superb parcel of wines `liberated` by MW Richard Kelly. Richard has sourced this Syrah from the De Morgenzon vineyards in Stellenbosch and closely resembles the wines of Crozes-Hermitage & Saint-Joseph. The wine shows red-black fruit & a slight floral note on the palate. Very drinkable now but capable of ageing for a further 3-5 years easily.

Grey Gables Cinsault / Syrah - A lustrous red in the glass, this exciting blend of Shiraz and Cinsault introduces an array of ripe berries and follows through in a juicy well-structured palate with a smooth finish.  Unwooded and easy-drinking, this light red wine is perfect for everyday enjoyment.

The Post Tree Pinotage RoseMade from 100% Pinotage grapes, harvested early while temperatures are still relatively low and then the juice is left on the skins until optimum flavour and colour has been obtained. The result of this careful process is an elegant Rosé bursting with flavours of fresh strawberries and ripe cherries, but without the cloying sweetness of an average Rosé.

Please note: if a wine in this mixed case moves vintage and we go out of stock, this will be replaced with a similar wine of same or higher value.
