We love Organic wines at EWWines. Here are a couple of our favourite Italian Bio certified wines from Ciu Ciu in the sunkissed Marche region of central Italy.
Ciu Ciu, Falerio Oris Bianco - This particular white is a blend of every white grape grown on the estate: Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerian with a splash of Chardonnay. All the grapes are grown organically, without any systemic fungicides, pesticides or herbicides and fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel. Fresh, fun and vibrant!
Ciu Ciu, Bacchus Rosso - Montepulciano/Sangiovese - The vineyards lie among the rolling hills of the countryside in Le Marche's Offida region where the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, combined with 300m of altitude create a unique micro-climate which ensures exceptional growing conditions. This delicious red comes from vines grown in the heart of the Rosso Piceno production area and is a 50/50 blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Juicy, fruity and great chilled this is an excellent food wine!
