Testalonga, El Bandito 'Monkey Gone to Heaven' Mourvedre

100% Mourvedre from bush vines planted in 2001 and organically farmed ever since. Unfiltered, unfined, wild yeast fermented. An enchanting bouquet of red and black fruit, with a hint of lavender and wild herbs. The palate shows great purity with lots of juicy fruit flavours, vibrant acidity and wonderfully supple tannins.

This wine has an energetic feel but it is very well tempered and not nearly as wild as this grape variety can tend to be if left unchecked.
