A glorious Piemonte red from Luca Roagna at a fraction of the price of his Barbaresco!
The Dolcetto d’Alba is made using fruit from the Pajé and Carso vineyards in Barbaresco. The vines have a minimum age of 45 years. Harvest takes place in September when the fruit has reached perfect maturity and is then aged in a neutral oak botti for approximately one year. The result is a structed explression of Dolcetto with silky tannins and vibrant dark forest fruits.
