While Faset is leaving the range, Gallina is staying for good as Luca managed to purchase the plot he has managed since 2014. This is probably the most surprising wine of this vintage. Roagna's Barbaresco Gallina has been growing in precision and quality across the years. 2018 brings a superb nose, with a touch of brimstone and smoke – very pretty and seductive. The palate is firm and grippy, with authority and personality.
