Back in 2017, Steve Smith and Brian Sheth were honoured to take on the legacy of Pyramid Valley and craft their own family of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. This Pinot Noir was born in the dramatic soils and slopes of the Waikari Estate in North Canterbury and was made following biodynamic principles to allow vineyards to express themselves.
Bright appearance with a ruby red hue. Lifted floral nose with raspberry and cherry aromas, with an abundance of savoury and earthy complexity. The palate is vibrant with tension and length, showing a nice mixture of bright fruit and herbal elements and a savoury structure that North Canterbury is renowned for.
