Sylvain Bzikot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Folatieres' is amongst the very best wines from the region. The wine has amazing purity and grace with great intensity of flavour, texture and fruit structure. Like all Sylvain’s wines it has opulent citrus fruit would round fresh mineraity and a long finish with tropical fruit and nutty flavours. Fabulous wine.

Sylvain Bzikot’s grandfather was a Polish emigrant who arrived in Puligny just before the War with nothing but the clothes he stood up in. From those very humble beginnings this family domaine has managed to acquire an impressive 4 hectares of some of the most valuable agricultural land in the world, namely Puligny-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru. They own a further 9 hectares of “regional appellation” producing Bourgogne Blanc, Aligoté and Pinot Noir.
