Quintessential aromas of mocha and black berries with a touch of toast. The full bodied palate has ripe black fruit characters, good structure and soft tannins.
Located in the Languedoc, 23kms south-west of Carcassonne, Domaine Astruc was bought in 2003 by Jean-Claude and Michel Mas, themselves owners and winemakers of the successful independent Les Domaines Paul Mas. The vineyards of Domaine Astruc benefit from a very special microclimate, sheltered by the Pyrenees, where oceanic and Mediterranean climates combine.
