This is a premium vodka carefully produced from the finest potatoes grown on a family farm in the heart of Cornwall. Distilled in a tiny copper batch still and blended with mineral water lifted from an aquifer deep beneath the farm, to create a smooth and creamy vodka. Best served neat over cracked ice to savour the creamy finish or as part of a delicious vodka martini!

Well this is incredibly exciting - Aval Dor Vodka has won a third consecutive Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards (also known as 'the Oscars of the spirits world’), which elevates them to the rare and prestigious Platinum Award!

To say that we are proud for them would be an understatement. The award is testament to the hard work that Steve, Jordan, and the distillery team put in every day in their quest to produce world class vodka from their small and wonky potatoes that would otherwise go to waste.

They’ve made huge strides to be as sustainable as we possibly can be - with their distillery powered entirely by renewable energy - but this would mean nothing if they weren’t producing a world class vodka. In approaching their vodka in what they consider ‘the right way’, we’re over the moon for them to have it recognised as one of the best in the world.

Colwith Farm Distillery is founded upon five generations of farming history. The idea to build the region's first plough to bottle distillery was developed by brothers Steve & Chris in 2010. Producing premium spirits represented the perfect way to add value to the crops produced on Colwith Farm.

Stafford Dustow (as in their original Stafford's Gin) moved to Colwith Farm, near Lanlivery in 1904. Five generations of the family have passionately farmed the soils ever since. It was during World War II when the family started growing potatoes to feed the nation. This tradition has remained and potatoes form the base of the family's first ever premium spirits - Aval Dor Vodka and Aval Dor Gin.
