Quinta de la Rosa's 2009 Vintage Port is terrific value and an absolute class act. It is drinking superbly now, but will also continue to improve. It has a deep, dark colour, bags of concentration and complexity, and is packed with aromas of blackberry and spice. 2009 was a very dry year and the grapes were fully ripe a little earlier than normal. This dry weather resulted in very concentrated grapes to make a very special vintage. They only selected 25 barrels to be aged as vintage Port.
