Mr Goose Esq Cabernet Merlot is from Berton Vineyards in Australia whose vineyards are in High Eden, a sub region of Eden Valley, South Eastern Australia.
Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties this wine is lightly oaked with a combination of toasted and untoasted French oak. Aromas of ripe dark cherries, blackcurrants and plum blend harmoniously with the toasty oak characters of vanilla and tobacco.
Soft and full fruit flavours of plum, blackcurrant and berry follow on to a long oak touched finish.
Mr Goose Esq Cabernet Merlot is rich enough to pair with meat and soft enough to match with tomato based pasta dishes.

Mr goose cabernet merlot
Came across this merlot at the crown Hotel at Wells next to sea in July on our annual vacation to Norfolk. Found it to be very pleasant and great taste on the palette.Found it impossible to purchase at any super market and other wine outlets came across it by chance on your website. Found it to be at a competitive price although at £8 parcelforce delivery price quiet expensive very prompt delivery. Also the government's 11% vat price hike unacceptable may have to shop around for another make at the supermarket which would be a shame.yours sincerely Mr J Laing
