Spectacular Sicilian Duo Hamper

This Dou from sunny Sicily are both certified Organic, and express Sicily and all its magic very well indeed.  The Graci winery lies north of the Etna volcano, in Catania and the COS winery is in Vittoria in the South West corner of Sicily.

Graci Etna Rosato - is an organic palest of pink DOC Etna Blanco (Sicily) Italian denomination by Graci from the local Nerello Mascalese grape.  The wine has gentle aromas of beeswax and apricot kernel.  On the palate, bright citrus with flavours of stone-fruit, honeysuckle and a touch of flint.  The flavours evolve onto the finish, becoming richer and broader, ending with a slight toasty twist.

COS 'Nero di Lupo' Nero d'Avola - produced from organic Unfiltered 100% Nero d’Avola (Nero di Lupo = 'the black wolf'). Vinification at COS has recently moved away from barrels and stainless steel to cement vats. This wine is aged for 18-24 months before being released. Red wine with remarkable finesse and rich fruit flavours balanced, by flinty notes. No chemicals are used in the vineyards and only natural yeasts undertake the fermentation.
