'La Patagua' is a collaboration between one of our favourite importers, Les Caves de Pyrene, and Luca Hodgkinson (Metic) presenting as Inacayal. The idea behind this project is to create excellent value wines, as naturally as possible, that faithfully reflect the place they come from.
All fruit is sourced from old, dry-farmed vineyards planted on their own root-stock. This white is a hazy blend of Semillon and Moscatel from the Colchagua valley with a lovely taste of fresh pineapple which really excites us. It would be great with all sorts of seafood and salads but at 14.5% it’s more alcoholic than it tastes so watch it!
