Kopke 10 Year Old White Port

A superb 10 year old white Port from Kopke. Made using a blend of local Portuguese grapes including Viosinho, Folgasao Rabigato and Arinto, Kopke then made their white Port in almost exactly the same way they do their vintage reds. The result is a complex, full-bodied style with plenty of orange peel, toasted nuts, caramel and stone fruit on the nose. The palate is structured with good tannins and acidity before a long, lingering finish.

Unlike white Ports without an age statement, this expression is best enjoyed chilled on its own as an aperitif or paired with rich starters such as mushroom risotto. With a freshness beyond age, the Kopke 10 Year Old White Port is also ideal with crème brulee or a spicy apple crumble.
