"High acidity balanced by residual sweetness and soft, rose-petal texture. A really original white wine. Especially good as an aperitif.” - Joanna Simon, Wine Writer

Named for Elizabeth Trevannion, owner of Knightor in the late 16th Century. Her husband wrote 'I married a gentlewoman more for her worth than her wealth'.

Tasting Notes: A blend of Knightor's most perfumed grapes with a lovely bouquet and aromas of rose water, lychee and grapefruit. The palate is fruit-forward and medium-bodied showing plently of dried fruit flavours and a long spicy finish. Very quaffable on its own and especially good with lightly spiced foods or strong cheeses.

Winemaker's Notes: This wine is made from the highly perfumed pink skinned Siegerrebe grape variety. The grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. The must was then fermented cool in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatics. This was then allowed a short aging on the fine lees before being blended and bottled early 2024.
