This sake is crafted using only the highest-quality sake rice, sourced exclusively from the brewery’s contracted farmers and is produced solely during the cold winter months to ensure optimal fermentation and balance.

Founded in 1625, Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery is the oldest sake producer in Kanazawa city, with the family’s original brewing methods and closely guarded recipes passed down through generations. The brewery is dedicated to traditional sake production, using only the finest rice and exceptionally pure water drawn from underground wells fed by snowmelt and rainfall from Mount Hakusan. All Fukumitsuya sakes are brewed in the pure Junmai style, with no added alcohol.

Kagatobi Gokkan Junmai Sake takes its name from the elite in-house firefighters of the historic Kaga mansion, celebrated for their bravery and known as the original “cool” firefighters.
