We've long stocked the red and now, here, the white from Mar and Wii Gonzalo. This is a very clean and natural wine, biodynamically produced in nrthern Spain. It is dry but with a lovely fruitiness. Alongside Viura, the principle grape used here, the blend also includes includes Gewurztraminer, Riesling and a whole bunch (see what I did there!) of other varieties.
Mar and Wii have chosen to completely declassify their wines, to allow them to work outside of any control or law from any DOC, so they can make the very best wine possible from their amazing vineyard. This is just terrific wine and absolutely, and justifiably, one of our favourites.
