This is an enjoyable light, refreshing wine. Found exclusively in western France, Folle Blanche is a rare white grape that was once ubiquitous across the region. This variety is perhaps best known for its distillation into brandy, especially in the Cognac and Armagnac regions. Folle Blanche is also used in Pays Nantais, in the west of the Loire Valley, where it is known as Gros Plant and used in the production of dry white wines.

A great alternative to Picpoul de Pinet – this is the ultimate wine to drink with oysters or mussels, with notes of sea spray, oyster shells and soft ripe pears with a lively and fresh character.

    Great taste

This is lovely, light alcohol, picpoul alternative. Reminds me of the light picpoul I bought in the south of France a few years ago
