Chateau Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon estate and covers 40 hectares located all around the property. Haut-Médoc enjoys a long-standing reputation, which is maybe even better established than that of Médoc itself. This reputation is due to the fact that since it is closer to Bordeaux its vineyard was highlighted right from the 18th century and estate-owners and business people alike have used it to their advantage.. Château Troupian wine is very feminine and slightly woody with tasty fruit aromas.

This wine is richly balanced, punchy and powerful, with a spicy underdone from the start. The Petit Verdot plays its part in the spice and savoury element here.  Black-currant and red-berry fruits show well, offering the potential for ripeness and freshness as the wine matures. Drinking superbly well now and will improve with further bottle age.
