A blend of Merlot (88%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (12%) from vines average over 40 years of age. The Chateau is currently in the process of converting to organic status and should gain certification for the 202 vintage.
The colour of the wine is intensely red with shades of purple. Immediately after pouring the wine into the glass, the bouquet has a fruity character, and due to the aeration it becomes more intense and complex. You can recognize here aromas of black currant, cherry, chocolate, wet wood and coffee. The wine has medium acidity and well integrated alcohol. Good quality at an attractive price.
