The Reserve Spatburgunder is characterized by a more rigorous selection of the best organic quality grapes, small yields, as well as a much longer aging period both in bottles and in wooden barrels.
The nose reveals blackberries and black cherry, along with spicy earthy aromas. Paired with some licorice and hints of damp forest floor. Pronounced but pleasantly ripe tannins and a complex elegant body due to long bottle aging. A Pinot Noir the way it should be drunk: Not too young!
