This 2022 Markus Molitor Schiefersteil Riesling (White Capsule) is a poised and elegant dry white from the Mosel region, boasting 11.5 % alcohol and a bright pale-yellow hue with green reflections . Fermented slowly and cool after gentle skin contact, then aged in stainless steel and large wood with extended lees contact, it reveals a refined palate. Aromas of ripe yellow fruit mingle with slate-driven minerality in a taut, precise expression. The finish is long, delicate, and subtly saline, delivering finesse and animating freshness.
This Riesling is an excellent accompaniment to Waldorf salad with asparagus and herb vinaigrette.
