From Vidigal, the Julia Florista White is a blend of Portuguese white grape varieties. Unoaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks, retaining the fresh vibrancy of the grapes.
Taking inspiration from Júlia Florista (1883-1925): Flower seller during the day, Fado singer at night. A true bohemian soul known in the old streets of Lisbon and taverns alike for her breathtaking fado singing. Her life and death had all the ingredients of a fado song… (Although short lived she left us 2 precious vinyl records named: “Espirito Fado”). This wine is dedicated to her memory.
The Vidigal Julia FLorista White has fresh, fruity aromas, tropical fruits and citrus standing out passion-fruit. Mineral is present. Round and pleasant finale. Pair with grilled fish, seafood, pasta and white meats, but also ideal served as an aperitif.
