This organically grown Sancerre sublimates the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety to reveal the purest expressions of this particular terroir. More than a wine, 'Pure' illustrates the Bourgeois family's commitment to the envirmonment.
The nose is floral and generous, with lovely notes of white flowers and ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, with a hint of angelica (a small candied fruit). The palate is very fresh, expressive, and well-balanced - the minerality of the flint stands out with a light smokiness on the finish. A wine of superb fullness and frank generosity.
