A vibrant combination of fresh basil and spicy tomato leaves, with tangy nashi pear and mandarin, sprinkled with a little lemon zest. A highly perfumed wine with blossom-like floral aromas and a subtle flintiness that alludes to an underlying core of minerality. A mouth-watering, refreshing style with a deliciously crisp, yet luscious finish. Very food friendly, this Sauvignon pairs well with fish and seafood, as well as vegetable dishes (especially asparagus and aubergine).

Kevin Judd spent 25 successful vintages at Cloudy Bay as Chief Winemaker and was instrumental the elevation of premium Sauvignon Blanc in the New Zealand wine industry, and globally. His first release in 2009 saw wide-spread acclaim and since then, every vintage has been as successful, firmly placing Greywacke on the 'key New Zealand producers' map.
