Baron de Lustrac 1980 Armagnac

A 1980 vintage Armagnac from Baron de Sigognac, who use a combination of Ugni Blanc and Baco in their brandies. All their vineyards are in Bas Armagnac, the top "cru" of the region. The range of vintage bottlings offers exceptional value and is great for birthday or anniversary gifts.

Its tea leaf/toasty aroma is so emblematic of bacco, with scents of honey wheat toast, rubber pencil eraser and butterscotch. Palate is scrumptious, sweet, concentrated and intensely caramel-like; with traces of asparagus and green leaf vegetable. Finish is bittersweet, eggy and creamy.
