Finca Dofi, often regarded as the younger brother to the renowned L’Ermita, originates from a single 10-hectare vineyard in the village of Gratallops (Tarragona) at 300 meters above sea level. This vineyard primarily features Garnacha vines, planted in the distinctive llicorella soil of the D.O.Q. Priorat, and is cultivated through environmentally conscious agriculture practices.

Adopting a biodynamic and organic approach, everything is done by hand and during harvest many passes through the vines are undertaken in order to get the most optimal fruit. The grapes undergo destemming and crushing at the winery, initiating fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels. The wine then matures for a period of 19 months in large oak barrels, contributing to its complexity. The resulting Finca Dofi captures the essence of its terroir.

Finca Dofi is renown for its round, voluptuous and velvety style. It is sensual, spicy and generous with flavours of red cherry and nectarine, balanced by fine grained, silky tannins, making it an ideal companion for food - think roast goose at Christmas! Overall, it is simply delicious and offers a delightful experience for the palate. A wine to grace any dining table.
