This is Classic Albariño, citrus and floral aromas, with a touch of stone fruit. On the palate it displays a mouth-filling fruity character perfectly balanced with the vibrant zingy acidity. It's easy to see why Albariño is now one of Cornwall's favourite grape varieties.

More than 50 years ago, Manuel Vázquez, "Manolo Arnoya", carried on his wine-selling business from a small cellar. As is so often the case with major business projects, Bodegas Gallegas began with humble origins and boundless enthusiasm, business vision and hard work. That’s how it all started. They have grown but they have never forgotten the essence of a project that is enriched by tradition and the family nature of the business; they cannot forget the humble winery in Arnoia, its simple barrels and the trips the businessman himself made in an old banger to sell his wine. All that experience has made them what they are today - a collection of 6 wineries spread across Spain.

Pirueta is made at the Rectoral do Umia winery, belonging to the D.O. Rías Baixas, is located in the Salnés Valley where the Albariño grape traditionally develops its maximum quality and strength. This winery, opened in 2009, has been created following the spirit, philosophy and values that inspire our business culture, with a know-how developed through time and experience. They produce wines of excellent quality, with the latest technology and under strict criteria to ensure excellence that is consistent throughout the year.

Bodegas Gallegas's wines are refined, soft, fresh and intense on the palate. On the nose they present an intense aroma, perfectly combining the fruity and floral notes. They are clean and bright. They pair perfectly with seafood and products from the sea.
